Angry I just can't pedal grab

I've only done a very little bit of practice, but pedal grabbing just feels really awkward and difficult to me. When I get onto the object, I have trouble because to get my right foot onto the pedal (the free pedal) I have to either lean to my right and fall back off the object or tilt the uni to the left and loose my balance. Is this somethign that'll start to feel correct after practice? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Andrew

I got nowhere trying pedal grabs seat in; I still can't do them, although I've not tried much. The seat just got in the way of balancing properly.

Try it seat out... that way when you land the seat doesn't get in the way, you can put all your weight on your left foot and wobble in whatever direction you need to.

Yeah, seat out. It's the best.

Andrew,

Check out Ben Plotkin-Swing's gallery.(video by dan-the-man) I was going to take some pictures to show you the technique, but these videos of Ben will work much better. (and sending a link is alot easier)

Thanks a lot Dylan and everyone else, that's really helpful.

Dylan,

Thanks for the thought of taking those photos. I've got those videos of Ben and I'll have a look at them frame-by-frame.

Thanks,
Andrew

I've done that. I still can't see the strings that make him get up so high. Surely it can't be possible...?
