storing files online
hi
does anyone know where i can store a 35MB file online (preferably at zero cost), as i have a unicycling video of a friend, but at the moment i cant get it much smaller. The most space i can find is 30MB on Brinkster, anyone know how big files you can put in a gallery on this site? thanks |

Hey,
on a unicyclist.com account you have only 20 MB for permission. I think on fortunecity(.com) you've the possibility to store 100MB for free... . Or maybe someone from this forum have a big ftp account and you can upload the file on it. _Felix PS: We all want to see the video ! :-) |

Is there a limit for stuff in the gallery rather than your webspace? I don't think there is, unless it's huge... some people have rather large collections of stuff.
Try it, it might work... http://www.unicyclist.com/gallery Phil |

If you're going to put a really large file in the gallery contact Gilby first so he can prepare for it. This will give him an opportunity to do some server magic to make sure the large http file transfers don't crash the server.
