as much as i like the Clash,i really liked Big Audio Dynomite too so im happy they broke up in 85.

yes they do rule...i saw then in concert about 6 years ago.it was awesome,the weather man was even there and Dick Vaughn Christianity is Stupid was about 30 minutes long with toasters burning bread till it smoked up the whole stage.

i havent heard much from them since IDSPSEPI but im sure they've spoke out on some format.

these darn kids and unicycle projects keep me far from the record store

Ya know, I've been searching and searching... I used to have a copy on tape... of their piece from w a y back about the green slime and the rental carpet cleaner.... been looking for it on Kazaa.... but to no avail....

yeah thats on the Big 10-8 Place.the Big 10-8 Place was there first thing in cd format.it came with a poster,a "no other possibility"bumper sticker and lawn clipping from Contra Costa county.all that and more stuffed in a plastic bag,they had to be hung on the record shop walls.

that album is the bomb on headphones.i think is was an HP steam cleaner from Safe Muffins that they had to get.409 is the Weather mans favorite number but it wouldnt work,had to get the steam cleaner.

1979 is a New Yorker bit on the reissue of The Clash album London Calling. I've recalled this thread because the piece ends with this beautiful bit of prose:
