unicycle.com ordering problem

I've been trying to figure out how much I'm going to have to pay to order a rim and video from unicycle.com but it won't let me selet any shipping method and doesn't even give me a choice. Has anyone else had this problem? What do I do?

Also, does anyone know how long it'll take to ship to Australia?

Thanks,
Andrew

Call them.

I had to call them to get One Tired Guy, the website wasn't cooperating.

It only gives 1800 - UNICYCLE for the number. What extra numbers do I have to add at the start if I'm calling from Australia?

Thanks

I don't think 1-800 numbers work from overseas. This is their international number: (01) 678-494-4962.

International calling codes?! Hell, I don't know. Hang on....

To make an international call from Australia to the United States, dial 0011
+ 1 + 800 + unicycle.

Source: http://kropla.com/dialcode.htm

Format: Australian international direct dialing prefix + United States
country code + area code + number. Yes, the US really is #1. ;-)

I didn't know before you asked, by the way, the different countries had
different IDDs - I thought they were all 011, like the US, Anguilla,
Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Barbuda, Bermuda, Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman
Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guam, Marshall Islands,
Micronesia, Midway Island, Montserrat, Nevas, Northern Marianas Islands,
Palau, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Vincente & Grenadines,
Trinidad, Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands....

Heck, it's not even the most common IDD - 00 is.

Andrew

I recently ordered stuff from Unicycle.com and I live in Sydney. You will
have to call them at about 7am your time to get them at 4pm the previous
day (i.e. you call on Tuesday Morning 7am, you will get them on Monday
4pm).

It took me about 2 weeks to get the stuff shipped over, I brought it in
via Airbourne, there was a shipping stuff-up which added to the time of
getting this here. The cost of getting it shipped is dependant on the
size of the package. I was getting a Coker Wheelset so I couldn't get it
done via the normal post. If it is small enough that will be the cheapest
option.

I found that unicycle.com where happy to help out with looking for the
cheapest shipping option etc.

Thanks

James (jimmy)

They'll work in so much as you can call the number, but you typically get a pre-recorded message saying something like "This call is not free outside of the US, please hang up." If you don't hang up the call will go through as normal.

The 1-800 number is probably just a free "hyper-link" to the above toll number you gave (or something like that). There might be a difference in charges if you call the 1-800 version rather than the 01-678 number, possibly more expensive?

Have fun!

Graeme
