In Australia, people have to put sunblock on their cats and dogs to protect them if they have them out in the sun, because the UV is so intense Down Under due to the hole over the South Pole in the ozone layer.

Well, on second thought, I guess that doesn't mean the cats and dogs get sunburned... I suppose it's possible to get skin cancer from the sun without getting sunburned.

"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Here is another interesting tidbit of information. According to Klaas' signature, the person who did the voice of Bugs Bunny is alergic to carrots. heres the signature, "Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny) was allergic to carrots."

Do you know what poem that's from?

Just wondering.

The Three Oddest Words
Wislawa Szymborska

When I pronounce the word Future,
the first syllable already belongs to the past.

When I pronounce the word Silence,
I destroy it.

When I pronounce the word Nothing.
I make something no nonbeing can hold.

Canada is not a democracy. It is a republic. Did you know that?

Take off, eh. What am I talking aboot? Oh, let me attend to my pet beaver. And I gotta fix that leak in the roof of my igloo while I'm at it. I spell colour with a "u". That sure was fun.

"Pigs can voluntarily become alchoholics."

You must have watched the same movie as I "Animal Farm" Where a bunch of pigs take over a farm and start ordering booze from humans and then get drunk lots and pass out.

"The first bomb dropped by the allies hit and killed the only elephant in the berlin zoo."

I just wanted to bring that one up again because it was the funniest thing I have heard in a little while.

Did you know that you are more likely to get skin cancer from floresent lights than you are from the sun, Some scientists feal that it is impossible to get skin cancer from the sun.

In South Africa one night a drunken man walked out of a tavern and into Ohio. This case has been well documented but never solved. Did he pass out and some one as a sick loke flew him there, so when he regained conciuseness(no idea how to spell that) he foud he was in Ohio?

Coca cola was origianally green, it also originally had trace amounts of cocaine to make it addictive!

101 Dalmatians and Peter Pan, are the only two Disney cartoon features, with both parents of which neither of them die throughout the movie.
Toy Story 1 and 2(I think thiey had both parents, I just know no one died) and Herculies.

I don't know if Coke was originally green, but it contained cocaine. however, the reason is because it was originally a medicine, NOT to make it addictive.
I think in Toy Story he only had a mom, I'm not positive though.... and in Hercules they were Gods, so that doesn't count, does it....?
