Barnyard Myths: Was Unispin problem or somthing

Sendhair, I'm gonna have to dissagree on the stubbern as a mule. A few years ago I went backpacking in New Mexico and for a short portion of our hike we had mules. And they did their own thing about 95% of the time that we had them. It seemed having Mules was infact more work than just carring all of our things on our back. Thoes indeed were stubbern asses. They wouldnt walk when we did, would wonder off in all directions when they did go, and they were kinda smelly too. Ok that last one may be a low blow but all the less they were stubbern.

EEEEEEE -- Haaaaah!!!

Ch, Ch, Ch, Ch, Checkernuts,

Exactly my point!

They did their own thing 95% of the time! How often can you say that about yourself? I'd like my own percentage to be that high!

("EE-yah! You call yourselves backpackers?! WEEE-ya don't need no stinkin' backpacks! EEEYaaaaah")

If the mules made you feel that having them along was more work than it was worth, THEY WON !

No offense, but which party showed the superior intellect?

In addition, which demonstrated a higher ethical sense?

When's the last time you heard of anybody but a human making a slave of another species?

Anyway.

I know it's just a cliche, but it's interesting (to me) to dissect these "nuggets of wisdom" and flay open their ill-conceived bigotry and ignorance.

Just think of the stubbornness that enabled you to become a Unicyclist!

there is a species of penguin that's been observed to practise a form of prostitution, swopping favours for smooth rocks to build a nest

not quite slavery but still something we quite often think as only a human trait/habit/affliction/occupation (?)

Some species of ants capture and use aphids in a manner similar to the way we use dairy cows.

Yes, that's one way to look at it, but I guess he probably meant for milk and meat stuff. Like McDonalds hamburgers. You know, what we use cows for.

I keep thinking I just read the words "McDonalds" and "meat" in adjacent sentences. I'm going for a lie down...
