Last night the Memphis Unicycle Club had an awesome time riding in the parade that kicked of "Tribute Week" here in Memphis. The police estimated that there were between 5,000 and 8,000 in attendance. The place was crazy and packed! The parade route was less than a ½ mile long and the crowd was stuffed along the route at least 4-6 people deep the entire route and ready for a wild night! The crowd cheered as the MUCsters rode down Beale Street with great excitement. Several of us were bold enough to wear our "Elvis Rolls!" t-shirt and we were asked numerous times where to get these now gone shirts. It was such a fun and funny scene! You've got to read the Memphis newspaper to get a sense just how crazy and camp Memphis can get during "Triubte Week."
