Why this forum ain't happenin'

Methinks this forum is redundant. The main reason unicyclists like to yap together is for unicycle talk, for which there already is rec.sport.unicycling. There is no cohesive purpose for this forum to exist. I say it be laid to rest. A dead forum is a sad thing to have lying around.

This forum *is* happening

Nobody forced you to join...

I used to read the newsgroup. Now I only come here several times a day. I like the fact that there is no junkmail. Do you *really* want to read how you can increase your penis size.

This forum rocks! Keep up the quality posts everybody!
I also read the Muniac Manor forum, too.

The rec.sport.unicycling forum is for discussing anything about unicycling. If it's not about unicycling, then it's off topic and isn't suposed to be in that group, but most people don't mind too much (as long as it's not spam).

This forum was made for all discussions not related to unicycling, a way for people to get to know each other or talk about anything that's not related to unicycling. While it has been under used, I'm going to leave it here for anyone that may want to start to use it. Feel free to start up any conversations you want in it.

I also have some other unicycling forums I'm working on adding here, they'll be more restricted though to be used for a specific purpose. If you have any ideas for this site, please let me know.

Get to know other unicyclists from around the world!
This is called Just Conversation, because we just converse in it.

No.1: the main reason for unicyclists to yap together is because we all are different people with one common interest and we talk about that in RSU. BUT, we all have other interests and personalities so we talk about that here. what do you think we are, unicycling robots? my name's not Segway!

No.2: Dead? how is this forum dead, there are new posts every day, Most Replies (love it or hate it) has over 2000 posts! the topics may be random or even stupid but it's far from dead.

remember, unicyclist.com is the Unicyclist Community Forums

One of the great things about Just Conversation is that I know something about the posters here. If I ask for advice on a non-unicycling question (e.g. is playstation or commodore 64 better), I can somewhat guage the reliability of the responses. e.g. if Logan says that staring at trees is better, I can safely say that that is a completely incorrect response. If John Childs says it, it will carry more weight. I couldn't do that on another forum, since I don't know the people as well.
