HI!

I need some help on juggling (prefferably clubs) while idling. My juggling isn't
a problem, I can do it non-stop, but add a uni and it becomes chaos!

I can get a few catches but I lose control of my uni.

Can anyone help?

-Marc

Thanks!

You need to learn the idle without the use of your upper body. A good way
to practice is to put your hands in your back pockets while idling, or
cross your arms tightly, or anything that keeps your arms and shoulders out
of the equation.

Practice riding while juggling too, this will solidify your skills. In a parade,
an audience actually prefers to see you juggle while riding. Somehow when you're
idling it doesn't look as interesting...

Stick with it and it will come together.

Re: Juggling and Unicycling?

Hi, It is easier to juggle while riding forward (more gyroscopic stability), so
get good at that first. Then practice idling with your arms crossed to simulate
the loss of things to help with balancing. Lastly, I find you can use your
elbows to help balance while juggling and idling. I think you can think of it as
keeping the juggling pattern and hands in one place, while the rest of you moves
around (Practice juggling with the clubs down and in front of you.) Try slowing
the idling down, and fitting in more juggling throws between turns of the wheel
to make corrections. Also, you can make more saves than you think, so don't
collect them early. Just expect that you can make the save.

Hope that helps, -Ben
