If you're going for lightweight, why a double wall rim?

I dont want too light actually, I'm not going for the weight, it's mostly for strength and coolness. I did think about trying a single wall rim, but I'm really hard on my wheels so I went for a double walled rim.

Currently upgrading my muni in a piecemeal way. So far the seat, and handle have been modified/optimised. Handlebar now attaches to CF base directly instead of through heavy rail adapter. It has also been drilled to lighten it. Saddle is custom CF with KH slim foam, false base to flatten it out with an added central cut-away. I'm soon moving to a 26" with 2.4 ardent folding tyre running tubeless- hopefully getting my cranks machined too to cut any excess weight. The most exciting addition to it though is a set of Ay-Up lights. These things are expensive (more than some people are willing to pay for a whole unicycle) but they are the best lighting system out there. Taking them for their maiden night time outing tonight!

I went with the V4 adventure kit- $462.00 AUS.

Time to start looking up 24hr solo races!

I finaly got my new rim and today I had time to go to the LBS, get spokes and build my wheel! My uni is ready for the summer, I'm just waiting for the snow to melt and go outside to ride Trials!

Specs:
Impact Naomi saddle
KH 2011 seatpost
K1 cutted and drilled seatclamp
Triton Sponge frame
Mad4One 32 hole hub
DT Swiss spokes
V!Z "Sandbash" purple double wall rim
Tensile cranks
Monty Eagle Claw tire (picking up a Try-all Lite next weekend)
Answer Rove FR gold pedals.

P.S.: It's a good thing there's this thread, I dont have 2 different parts from the same brand!

That is an amazing unicycle! It looks really cool, and I bet that it's super light!

Pretty much the same specs, except I got a White Try-all Light tire... which I'm still not sure if I like it better than the MEC. I'm still going to test it out for a few more weeks before either going back to MEC or keeping the pimp white tire.

Specs:
Impact Naomi saddle
KH 2011 seatpost
K1 cutted and drilled seatclamp
Triton Sponge frame
Mad4One 32 hole hub
DT Swiss spokes
V!Z "Sandbash" purple double wall rim
Tensile cranks
Try-all Light White
Answer Rove FR gold pedals.

That picture was taken before my first ride on it, I'm gonna keep it dirty
