No it wasn't discussed. The dentist's office is going to give me a call when the dentist is available for an appointment. We are primarily going to discuss the top wisdom tooth on the same side, but I will ask about an implant on the bottom as well.

How'd the interview go?

I was supposed to get implants years ago.
The jaw has probably softened to the point where it's not even worth trying anymore.
Don't do what I did, get it done soonest.

Oh, and that was because they had to pull (what was left of) the teeth I used to use to open beer bottles.

Don't do that either. kids.

It got pushed back, to last Friday. They seem to like me and I have an assignment to do for them, at which point I assume they will make a decision. However I feel good about the whole thing and am going to knock the assignment out of the park. So I'm hopeful.

I couldn't believe it about the hockey team. Although I've been kinda pulling myself out of reading the news lately and focusing on other things in life, but man, that was rough to hear. I used to play hockey growing up, so albeit my connection is extremely far, it did sting a little on a relational level.

I've been going through cover letters and resumes this evening and it's a bit concerning. More people than not are what I would have thought of as over qualified. Some make sense, but others don't. It makes me wonder about the current job market if I ever decide to get out of government.

Lots of promising looking applicants, I wish we had more openings for them to fill.

Habby good luck with the assignment we are all rooting for you.

The snow is rapidly receding with double digit temperatures during the day and about 40mm of rain. It's starting to feel like spring and summer is just around the bend.

It's amazing how many people I know have strong connections with those on the team. One of the players I haven't seen on the deceased list was in my econ group when I did a semester at St. Peters two years ago.

Many in the province of Saskatchewan are observing a moment of silence at seven PM tomorrow, I invite the unicycling community to join.
Grim news, you have my sympathies.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

What's left of my teeth are wincing in pain

Went to see the new Avengers movie last week.

Thoroughly entertained, which is all you can really ask from a cinema experience.

Also, was my birthday last week.
I pushed the boat out and bought myself a Darth Vader helmet.
Because, y'know, you never know when you might need one.

Right?

Right?
One of my favourite music festival memories is riding around the campground on a unicycle with a darth vader helmet on my head (I really don't remember how that got there) wearing a canadian flag like a cape and carrying a case of beer under my arm passing out cans to strangers. Unsurprisingly it was a pretty good ice breaker.

So yup, it could definitely come in handy. The flag is optional.

Maybe people are just seeking more adventure. Are there turned on by the new fire fighter TV series. Or they just want to try it. I could be there confident that they can go back to their old job because the job market is so good. Who knows?
