Thanks for all the advice guys. I'm seriously considering getting that white try-all sticky light. I'm going on a ride in London this weekend so I'll ask people there and if the consensus stays the same I may well end up taking the plunge.

For me it meant I had worn through the rubber and could see the threads. I had also turned it on the rim a few times so that it wore evenly all the way around.

I wore out the tread faster than that. But the rubber grips pretty well even without tread on it.

I would guess that the Cyco-Lite would have lighter flimsier sidewalls due to it's lighter weight but they may have pulled off a materials and design miracle while keeping the cost down.
Has anyone here who've ridden other tires actually used the Cyco?

First hand opinions?

I rode one twice and was not impressed. I blew it off the rim with a small drop

From me asking around, the Monty eagle claw pro seems to still be production, but not in the U.S.

http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/19_inch_...519p11894.html

has them (well, HAD them) and I asked and they said they'll receive another batch in the upcoming batch in the next couple of weeks (been about one or two weeks). Might be a seller's response though.

The old monty claw is not.

Separate note.

I have the Try-All lite, Cyko Lite, and old Monty Eagle. After my wrist heals and I get a bit better with the rolling hops, I want to compare them side by side and see the bounce quality. At the moment I feel like the Cyko lite is okay but not great in bounce quality.

If anyone has tried the cyko lite with the other ones, opinions on it would be interesting.

That one is a "Race" tire, and the description says "thinner walls", so might no be best for a trial uni.

Unicycle.co.uk has them it seems:

And I'm sure Roger and his guys have sent stuff in the US before. Posting might be a little bit pricey though. Worth asking.

Looks like no one has updated this in a while.

Anyone use the OBR Gekok? I just recently noticed my Creepy Crawler is going bald and I read good things about the Gekok, so I placed an order. I can try and give a review when it gets here, but I feel underqualified as I'm not much of a trials rider yet.

At the last unicon, it was the trendyest tyre.. I guess people likes it.
Me personally, I stick with whatever is both cheap and durable.
And i think the yellow suggestion "maxxis" on the side of it, makes me look sexier..
Yeah!

I recently got one. I like it. It's noticeably lighter than the eagle claw I was riding before. It's pretty bouncy. It feels like the monty pro race, but I think it has better sidewall support. It has the same sort of round cross section that takes some time to get used to if you have been riding the more square CC. I'm glad I got it.

What do you think of yours?

Apparently it's in a box waiting by my door right now. I'll mount it on my uni tonight and try it out tomorrow. Coming from my old and well worn CC I'm excited to see how much better it is.
