There is speculations if Hamas are using a selfmade or their own hospital, but how can we know..

Of course, some people find it hard trusting the norwegian reporters (doctors), especially Mads Gilbert. Who once said that he understood why terrorists did an attack on 9/11, and if i remember correctly, he also said he supported it! (??)

I'm still supporting the civilian palestines, and I'm truly against Hamas, and the Israelian leaders. But everyone has their own oppinions, eh?
I confess I haven't looked much into this since I left Israel, but I can tell you when I was there that the news said the Palestinian death toll consisted of 331 people and 51 of them were civilians, the rest were all Hamas (I'm not completely sure if those where the exact numbers, but if they aren't they are REALLY close). The Israeli news could have been making this up, but I choose to trust those numbers.

My family talked about the whole Gaza strip thing this morning for about an hour
When you actually look into the facts and look for TRUTH it is rediculously obvious that Israel is completely right and Hamas and the other anti-Israel contries do not want peace but instead only want to wipe Israel off the earth
And the whole world has been swayed by the media showing pictures of injured civilians etc.

Ill try and find the articles they do a much better job explaining than I do

I agree with some of the people above, in that though Israel seems to be really harsh, they are fighting to defeat Hamas, not Palestine. If Hamas chooses to hide among civilians, I guess the Israeli military leaders have decided that they must allow for this collateral damage, even if they don't want to do it. To *not* do it is to allow the continuing (though small) attacks on Israel. Does Israel have any wording in its "mission statement" that any of its neighbors must be destroyed? If not, I would consider them to generally have the moral high ground.

Which leads me to the question of why the Palestinian people "elected" Hamas? I don't know how their political or voting systems work, but it seems like they may have made the wrong choice. I wonder how many Palestinians are willing to change this choice in order to restore not only peace, but whatever freedom is supposed to go with it?

Or are we only hearing Israel's side of the story?

Strange thing: a poor uneducated Palestinian whose family has been kept locked in a massive open air prison for years by a powerful enemy feels he has no other way of fighting back, so he straps a bomb to himself and determines to take some of the enemy with him. He is a cowardly terrorist.

A highly trained pilot from an educated and comfortable background retaliates by firing millions of pounds worth of missiles from a jet plane way out of range of enemy fire, and he's courageously fighting against terrorism.

The language of the Israeli government and armed forces is classical bullying language: "See what you made me do."

Someone said the other day, "An eye for an eyelash" and I couldn't put it better myself.

There is no excuse for the killing on either side, but this war is so asymmetrical that the actions of the Israelis are absolutely despicable.

You don't stop an enemy hating you by bombing their children.

Paul McCartney's concert in Israel included subversive songs with messages of peace, which are excluded from many press reports of the concert.

In Israel McCartney also met with representatives of OneVoice, a grassroots group working for a peaceful resolution of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. At the meeting, McCartney said he would perform with a OneVoice pin on his lapel and added: "I'm not a politician, I just want to bring a message of peace."

Now let's hear it from the Israelis for bombing a UN compound.

Their explanation: "We're sorry, but we're sure that Hamas were firing from that area."

"I'm sorry I broke the Ming vase with Dad's sledge hammer, Mum, but I was trying to swat a fly that I thought had landed on it."

(I don't recall Saddam bombing a UN compound, but I'm willing to be corrected.)

A parent of mine tried to start a company in Palestine: this was for sheer business reasons: he was dealing with technical products made out of diamond cuts. Since tel-haviv is full of diamonds cutting people and you can find cheap educated people in Palestine he spotted a business opportunity.
He then realised that Israel completely blocked his business (why? pick up your reasons).
his conclusions: when people are not even allowed to earn a decent life with a decent job... they might , not surprisingly, vent their anger by other means (even supporting Hamas which is not precisely a progressist organisation).

another remark: one could consider the war from an animal evolutive perspective: to survive a population grows and nurture excessively aggressive components.
let them do business and earn a decent life and agressive output will diminish : this is not a "moral" position but an evolutive trait.

my "moral" position: no one deserves to die by the hand of another man
(even if labeled as "terrorist" or "occupier").

There are very few other ways people including yourself will be informed, unless you have friends or family there?
