Currently in the US, a single person earning less than $1,000,000 per year is considered poverty level. There's just no way to make ends meet on anything less.

What exactly is corporate welfare?
A corporation is an economic entity. I work for a non profit corporation, I don't believe we provide any welfare, but we do have employees and they get paid, so is that welfare or economic exchange? As I understand welfare in the politicized sense, corporations cannot provide welfare since they require an exchange of time, product, or services for cash. So are we talking about return on investments? Is it welfare to make money on money? Or are we talking about the rich folks at the top of he corporate food chain who make bank living the high life? Sex, race, both of which determine your appearance, are significant in how people are incorporated into society. Discrimination on appearance is not uncommon and most certainly plays a part in your predilection to poverty or wealth. If you have not truly experienced difference, i.e. you are white and live in a predominately white place, then take a trip sometime to Africa and be the white guy in a crowd of black people. You'll be seen like you've never known, the fishbowl effect will make you very uncomfortable, kinda like how it must feel to be a minority color/race in a white world.

Whoa there Chaz, don't suck the wind out of Billy's sails. He needs as much sensationalism as possible to avoid any, y'know, logical debate.

Corporations RECEIVE corporate welfare from the government.
Middle class tax dollars are given to billionaires.
