How about a light bar and a flaming beaver decal?

Haven't got the light bar yet.

I think it might be a canadianism, or maybe even a saskatchewanism. Combine "found the rhubarb" (ended up in the ditch/unexpectedly went off road) and "ate it" (crashed). Didn't come out with any twigs in my teeth so it was all good.

The word "america" is like the word "dinner" we all have a vague idea of what it means but the specifics depend on who you are talking too. For clear communication these words should be avoided.

I haven't watched the movie yet but heard that the last part of the movie was scripted match the radio transcripts from Yarnell word for word. I'm sceptical as I have heard people talk about it mentioning parts that were not in the official transcripts of the incident report. I'll have to watch it once for entertainment, then again scrutinizing for historical accuracy before recommending it to others. I hope it is both entertaining and accurate.

I've only watched the one curling game. I got pretty busy with the specialist course I was taking, then stayed away from general internet and social media after the Stanley trial so I would not get pissed off and distracted when I should be concentrating on becoming a better fire behaviour analyst.

We just had a 4.9 earthquake.
Quite a small one really but a little unsettling as we don't get many in the UK.
You'll be pleased to learn that no action figures fell off any shelves.

we are coming to the end of a heat wave here in Aus, ive been chaining tins of beer to survive. At my work we had a power outage in 40 degree heat and we nearly had a lord of the flies type situation with >2000 students. it nearly got messy.

my 3d printer doesnt like the heat and has just been non functional. Oh well, nothing to do but work

I'm ashamed to say I nodded off on the sofa before it finished.

But I did watch the UK take gold and bronze in the women's skeleton though.

YEEEESSSS

I never thought I would live in a time where eccentric billionares launch red electric sports cars into space with a go-pro strapped on to it so we could all enjoy the view.

I bet the flat earthers are a bit peeved.

Glad your action figures survived the earthquake.

Just stayed up and watched the women's curling match live. Now I get to go to sleep disappointed at 2:AM

China played a very good strategic game.

Good night you all and dream of a perfect draw.

What about the two man Bobsled? Is that tie ok?

Also, Falcon Heavy was awesome, the landing of the two booster rockets kinda blew my mind.

Was that the same UPD as the encounter with the vicious squirrel resulting in the gory leg? Broken finger really sucks, hope it heals well.

I don't know about the bobseligh, Timed events can have ties, should I be concerned?

I downloaded Only the Brave when I was in PA, but haven't watched it yet. While it was downloading I went and watched Black Panther in the theatre. to which all I have to say is Bravo Marvel.

Good movie, and yup I'm going to have to read the transcripts from the incident report before watching it again. Didn't quite play out how I re-constructed it in my mind, but not too far off. Kind of like seeing a movie based on a favourite book.

A lot of stuff rang true. I never really understood how they were a municipal hotshot crew rather than a IHC. Now that part makes sense.

Their CGI guys should talk with some of the fire scientists in Missoula, though getting it more right would probably have been quite pricey.
