@Piece Maker, the tire is a Panaracer GravelKing SK 700 x 35C (https://shorturl.at/exD39). Yes, it is a carbon rim. It"s a 29'er I got from Light Bicycle (https://shorturl.at/jCRY3). It was difficult to source a 700c/29'er carbon rim with 36 holes. I had to settle with this one which is not ideal since it has a 2mm offset. But it seems to work fine.

They probably don't save much weight but the bling factor is super high!

I've been having fun machining the frames lately, the milling machine I got last year really opened up a bunch of new possibilities.

I didn't weight before and after, but it does save quite a bit surprisingly! Almost half the thickess came off in the process, keeping it stiff where it needs to be and shaving weight were I can

You get more in Bling factor than you save in weight I think
