"and the coloured girls go..."

"They only sold 30 000 albums, but everybody who bought one of those albums went on to start a band."
(Can't remember who said that.)

EDIT: Was 30k not 15, and it's attributed to Brian Eno. Now I know.

I missed this news. If I Should Fall from Grace with God introduced me to The Pogues. Their songs told stories wonderfully.

I guess the news made more noise on this part of the ocean.
I discovered them first when I was a kid: I saw on TV an interview of the singer who said their original band name was "Kiss my *ss" and found it funny.
Later, as a young adult, I bought Rum Sodomy and the Lash*.
I'm not an expert/fan, though. Just really liked their music (I don't have any other The Pogues album)

*And yes, they undoubtedly have a thing for marketing
Here's a little present for you, Raphaël

For the "Breaking Bad" fans out there

Now that we are all going through virtual meth withdraw, he's something to ease the sting slightly. One of the best shows ever!

not trying to spam this place

I have just been lucky at finding new music lately. A friend of mine is a pro musician, and he told me the unique sound is because the guy tunes the guitar different.
