Me too! A rim/tire combination like that would make more sense for serious Road riders, though there would probably still be a larger market for a bigger, heavier "novelty" setup.

I am 5'7" intermediate muni rider. 27.5 is a great size. I am very happy with mine. The 29 always seemed too big for me up steep, rooty hills yet not fast enough for real road riding. I like the 27.5 because it allows a pretty fat tire yet is still manageable in technical sections, steep downhills and uphills. Also fun for short urban rides. Great size. But as others had said 650b is very much mainstream.
