I'm sure once it is aired it can be posted on youtube. From what I hear, many commercials are shot and ready for air, and end up getting shelved for various reasons. I hope that doesn't happen!

Oh yeah, I do remember seeing at least some of that. Great movie!

I felt uneasy .... something was wrong but I could not pinpoint the problem .... in fact the principal role in this commercial was played by Jules (a former member of our Muni team) but I did not recognize him! he is a grown up of about 1.90 m and he was playing the role of a teen.... it's crazy how a role and makeup can transform a person!
They also say the camera adds about 10 lbs to you, which wouldn't be bad for me haha!

Well I got the call last night to be at the "fitting" in Hollywood today. They said that if I had any plaid shirts and/or khaki pants, belt, to bring them along. I didn't have anything new, so I made a quick trip to the dept. store to get something. I know next to nothing about current clothing trends and styles, so I hope I don't look too stupid, haha!

They'll probably supply my clothes, but I thought I should at least go in with something close to what they described. I also was lucky that my dentist could fit me in this morning-at the last minute-to repair my chipped front tooth!

If its like the commercial I did, they'll probably have like 50 racks of clothing from universal studios for you to try on. They told me to bring my own stuff too just in case they liked what I already had.
Looks kinda strange for unicycling attire.

YEah, they had me try on 4 different combos of shirt/shoes/pants...all plaid pattern shirts, and various pants styles, and the shoes were converse high tops! Yeah, they obviously want a non-MUni look.

lol. Could be that I was in a hurry to go ride! It was my morning oatmeal, and I ran out of banana slices, so maybe I thought I was biting into one that wasn't there.

That's because I've never ridden that one haha! I put that together as a backup, and loaner for visiting or MUni-less MUni people, lol!

And for some reason your "clean" comment made me think of this. (Scan to 4:47)

I'm not surprised.
The actor who played the dad (Wilfred Brambell) was quite famous for appearing in a British comedy called Steptoe & Son and normally looked like this on screen.

What's really scary is that he was only 52 when he was in "A Hard day's night", two years younger than I am now, yet he could easily play my dad. Weird! He played Paul's grandfather.

Maybe the makeup was just really REALLY realistic! Here he is from that movie:

waw! I was an avid fan of Steptoe and son! (I watched it on Australian TV) ... but never linked the auld man to the dad! (again makeup change people ... or is it that gifted actors can change themselves!)

Terry, You are getting famous. The other day at Woods an MTB guy stopped me as he had never seen Muni in person. He asked me if I was Unigeezer! I said no, I am much younger!
