Six miles in the Sunshine this morning. I caught sight of the old church through a break in the trees as I rode and had to get a picture.

As I mused on my blog, to people a couple of centuries ago, these things were landmarks that let them know they were getting close to somewhere they could rest, eat and drink.

It's funny that not long ago you couldn't even ride a uni - in fact, you didn't even own a uni. It's great to see your progression from learner to municyclist.

When are you going to learn a 36er unispin?

Haha, I'd be happy to do a 180! But the wheel's so big I'd need to be spin it as fast as a smaller wheel so I wouldn't hit the wheel with my feet/legs!

That's what's so great about unicycling! I'm afraid if I ever quit riding I'd balloon to 300 lbs!

A very pleasant 6+ miles yesterday afternoon along the Schuylkill river, from West Philly to Manayunk. The cheap UDC 29er is still holding up, but I'm really feeling the bug for a 36er. Or at least a saddle that fares better than the KH Street for long distances. Of course looking at this pic now I see that I need to readjust the position of that seat, which will probably help tremendously...

Unitographer, what you need to do is flatten that puppy. It'll make a difference.

Anyway, it's been a while without pics from me, but I've been on a couple good rides lately. First one is on the Northern Skyline trail, 2600 vert. Slow going, and steep.

Second one is some of the snow still up on the skyline. Around 8500-9000 feet, there were some pretty good drifts that weren't rideable (even if you had a fatty).

Third one is on Antelope island by a horse corral built in the 1800's.

The seat by shaving and/or tilt it up.

Great scenery by the way.

Hot out there today - did a quick 5 miles and collected some prescriptions along the way.

Full details in the blog - more pics on dedicated FB page as usual.
