Subliminal Success

Sometimes my powers impress even me!

Been working at my girlfriends today. We were both having a working from home day. Just popped into her office to chat about a few things and left making the comment "I've just realised I haven't had a coffee today". Quite a rare event for me.

5 minutes later she came downstairs and said "I've just realised you haven't had a coffee today. Would you like me to put the kettle on?".

I smiled and said "that would be lovely, dear". When coffee arrived I asked her if she remembered the last thing I said to her in her office. She didn't and was genuinely surprised when I told her what I'd said.

Maybe I should mention I need a payrise as I next walk out of my bosses office

You left out the most important detail. What kind and style of coffee did she make for you?

Exactly the right kind. I've got her trained well on that
