Killian and I rode about 23 miles on Antelope Island. The trail is cross country single track. Ouch

Nice pics!

Today I decided to assemble my 36er again, I didn't ride it since I trued the wheel again, which was several months ago.
It was worth it to ride it again, I took much pleasure in this 33,3km XC ride.
Took as much short breaks as I needed when one of my knees was suffering a little.
This was my longest ride on a 36er.

Sorry for the size, didn't manage to re-size it with the BB code I use in other forums.

Hello UPD, yes and it is 120tpi

Excellent tire, very good grip and rolls quite fast off road and eventual road/hard pack

That looks like one of the better ones I've seen online though
I think the older versions did not but the new ones (2015-2016) do as per my understanding.
Here the certifications as per MET web page:

CE EN 1078 AUS AS/NZ 2063 US CPSC 1203 ASTM F1952-2032

The Parachute model is just so light and comfortable ...

Don't tell me... er, its a blue airfoil that allows you to create downforce when you lean forward at speed. The good thing is, people think you are delivering pitza

First ride in 6 years! Great to be back in the saddle. Found some excellent trails in the woods for my muni.

I was out trail building today. Got to lay down the first tracks on the 90' section that we finished. My reward for digging and moving rocks.

Cramond - North of Edinburgh

After 12-months of practice in the back yard and at the side of the house - I finally went public on the 24"club while on vacation.

North of Edinburgh there is a 2-mile long, 10-yard wide promenade from Granton to Cramond village.
I did about 3/4 of a mile (1.5 round trip) but walked some of it to avoid injuring groups of pedestrians with my UPD's, and to rest my legs before re-mounting at the grass verge.
The longer runs were around 50-100m before my legs gave up, turns were good, camber was tolerable, and no nasty injuries.
So apart from a lack of fitness - it was a successful day out.
Hopefully this is the start of being a real unicyclist, rather than a beginner.

If you were out walking your dog on Easter Sunday - it was me half riding / half walking the orange Club.

Keep up the good work, Reeny! I think uni riding is some of the best exercise there is. I've noticed that my endurance and lung capacity, even for other sports, has increased considerably since I started riding my unicycles again more regularly over the past few months.

Thanks Bradford,
I have had the chinese 20" since February last year to practice on - but only had the 24" since September, just in time for the winter weather.

For a 50-year old non cyclist, I am happy with my progress so far.

Cool! Honestly, I think the fact that anyone can ride some as preposterous as a unicycle at any age is something to be proud of!

We've had an extremely mild winter here, so I've had the pleasure of riding quite a bit, and the weather is still amazingly nice. Sadly, all that comes at a cost (more bugs and hotter summer), but I'll enjoy it while it lasts!
