Surley

I messaged on facebook about the Surley. never heard back. I would like to have a Surley in my collection.

I gave my 24" Triton to my soon to be 10 year old daughter. Now I never get to ride it.

I wasn't really sure where to post this but I thought it was funny

It almost looks similar to some of the homebrew geared unis we've seen on these forums, but with a rear wheel for stability.

That handlebar setup too

I recently picked up a copy of One Wheel, Many Spokes, where Lars Clausen rode across the US using handlebars like that. Doesn't look terribly comfortable to me. Not sure what mounting looks like.

It's too bad the design of the custom hub doesn't include a disc brake. I would definitely make a unicycle out of it if it did. There's a new product from kervelo.com coming out in a couple months that may be even better.

The Surly looks like a 26" with a 24" tire and it has rim brake mounts.

I seem to remember seeing a video of this guy too... Absolutely wild handlebars. I imagine he would just step into them from behind then mount? No idea though!

Three unicycles claimed to be over 90 years old "used for acrobatic acts".

Here's one listed as a 16er, but it looks an awful lot like this 12er on UDC. It's super cute, I almost want to pick it up just for the novelty.

Why yes somebody does have a new unicycle, thanks for posting that up! I've been looking for a reasonably priced 36er to start building up and playing with and this should fit the bill.

I talked the seller down due to the wheel in bad need of being trued up, like rubbing on the frame... The next morning I got it running true n swapped out the saddle and pedals for some extras I had laying around. Took it out that afternoon for my first big wheel ride.

Wow! The largest I've previously ridden has been my 26" lightweight road uni. Was able to ride a few laps around my usual practice spot without much problem after using my Jeep to assist mounting, but free mounting it will definitely take some time to get down.
