Stunning

As I said in another thread I LOVE the fact that I talk daily to people from around the world about such a niche shared hobby and get to see all these amazing places everyone gets to ride.

The internet never ceases to amaze me

Rough ride for the 700C on semi-frozen trail, but a great time!

More what I did to my ride :D

Spent the past few days changing the bearings on my MUni after the old set locked solid. Played about with the spoke tensions and stuff, and had a fiddle about to try to make it ride better. Still had the unicycle in my bedroom when the Christmas decorations went up, and the MUni ended up getting decorated. Got a Christmas unicycle, instead of a Christmas tree

GukSaBong muni, sort of..

Did a muni walk with my friend up a hiking track intending to go up to the top. But in view of our lack of success riding what little flat bits there were we flagged that idea away and rode down a forest road and then four and half km back to the car.
I hadn't expected so much snow up the hills. Only my second time on a mountain so the narrow tracks put me off, much more fun with the one and a half km downhill on the road.

Duba-un-i

Howdy all,

I've been in Dubai for a while now for work, and have had my trusty old Triton 29er with me to keep me entertained. Yesterday I met up with Juan from these forums, he's the only other unicyclist (that we know of) in Dubai. We went for a good cruise from Juan's place through the beach side suburbs, down along the beach and upto the flag square, then back the same route home. Along the way we stopped for a happy snap with the Burj Khalifa in the background (the GIANT pointy building), and grabbed a pic of me at the flag square.

I'll be back this way next year sometime, and will have to catch up with Juan again for some uni action. Thanks mate!

Cheers,

Dmacuni
