New Bedford Impossible wheel !

I have been designing and manufacturing Impossible wheels over the last few months.

The Bedford Impossible Wheels are now in stock and ready to ride !

They have huge 14mm axles, 48 spokes with alloy rims. Hub, spokes and rim are black
The platforms are machined aluminum powder coated high-gloss black with grip-taped surfaces.

They look awesome !!!

Jeff Groves and Ryan Atkins have been testing a prototype. They have even mastered bunny hopping on them !!! Yep, bunny hopping over things on a impossible wheel !

Darren,

That photo's a keeper! They look really, really awsome! That red strip really goes well with all the black. How much will they cost? I'm considering getting one in the fairly distant future (as I have a long wishlist and already own a cheap impossible wheel with little round pegs). How much would shipping be to Australia? Do you ship to Australia?

I wondered how one would convince the IW to go up. Hopping in sync
with tyre springiness? But now from the photo I suppose it is
squeezing the feet against the vertical part of the platforms and
possible hooking shoes under the nut, right? Even when I understand

Yes, they use the big chrome nuts to hold on to for bunny hopping.
These guys are awesome unicyclists and will be the pioneers of impossible wheel stunts/tricks.

There are 12 or 15 in stock right now if you're looking for one.

here's a picture of jeff riding his BC. This is about the 3rd time he had tried.
It is mainly just getting over being scared of jumping at high speed, to get around the gym once or twice. My favourite thing now, is jumping on at sprinting speed, and trying to juggle whilst riding the bc.
Out around the city, and down grassy hills is awesome fun. I even managed to do a pedal(peg) grab onto something about 15".

It's a great movie, and you'll be able to see what it looks like to ride a bc wheel, and how incredibly cool they are!

Next we'd like to see the movie with some jumps! Say some small ones, like a gentle skate board type ramp to ride up and over.
But seriously, The movie was totally awesome. Wow, the things that are possible with the right equipment and lots of daring skill and nerve.

It looks like a 20" wheel. It's likely a fat 20" BMX tire, but it's not a Fireball unless I'm totally misjudging the size of the wheel.
