I have his demo video here; it's one of the classier videos I've seen on the web. Pretty funky stuff.

After failing to get the gallery to accept the original file or a recompressed one, I have temporarily put Dan Doerksen's "Demo" video on my website.

The original video was 42MB and 640x480; for bandwidth reasons I have shrunk it down to 10MB at 320x240, but it's still perfectly watchable. You will need the DivX codec to watch it.

I made a gallery for Dan Doerksen's videos. I have the Demo video and his short clips. I made two versions of the Demo video. One is compressed with Windows Media 9 (WM9) at full resolution (640x480). The other is compressed with MPEG-1 and is resized to 480x352. Both are about 19 MB big. The original video was too big to upload to the gallery.

The gallery is here: Dan Doerksen's Videos. It's a sub-gallery in my Monster gallery.

Dan looks so much younger without the dreads. How old was he when the vids were posted? He must have worked out or something before U2. It seems like Dan has just dissapeared off the face of earth ever since U2, you never knew about him before U2, and you never hear about him after U2. Weird.....

Dan was posting those videos in early 2003 and maybe late 2002. I assume the clips are from that same time period. Those clips must have been from before he filmed his segment for Universe 2.

I'm not sure what Dan's up to. I couldn't get in touch with him to get permission to repost his videos. I hope he doesn't mind that they're in a gallery now.
