'Dragonflies have a life span of 24 hours'

It's Mayflies that only live a day, not dragonflies. Otherwise the adults wouldn't have to eat.

I think in Toy Story he only had a mom, I'm not positive though.... and in Hercules they were Gods, so that doesn't count, does it....?
I got hte green coke one from sofas list, I read it all. I think the gods should count, cause they tried to kill Herculies and he was a god, they just had to turn him mortal.

i'm kinda curious about this one
any more info?
i've been digging
all i can find is a variety of 'fact' sites with that exact same quote and no futher information
if it was so well documented, u'd imagine a quick google would sort it out?
i've found some particularly fun stuff while looking tho

this, this one is brilliant and, in the light of the religious discussions taking place elsewhere on this forum, this one but nothing on my Ohio-playing countryman

he's not, actually. but he has his information a little off, I think.... it's more like if insects didn't die before giving birth to new insects, and all insects they give birth to survive to give birth again, etc. then the Earth would be covered in a layer of insects over one foot deep within 24 hours.

If the goldfish thing is true, why could I train my fish to come to me when I whistled?
