Hmm, didn't see this! It truly was amazing how many religious buildings there are in Bhutan though- half of every municipal building is dedicated to the religious needs of the community. While there's no separation of Church and State like there usually is in most functioning democracies, it seems to work really well here.
Going to Bhutan is incredibly expensive (the visa expense was USD$170/day/person x 4 persons x 30 days- you do the math). There is no way I could have done it without a major TV show paying all the bills. Definately the chance of a lifetime.
