Well since he is sentenced to hang all he has to do to stay alive is Eat A LOT, because legally if you way over about I think 295 pounds or something they can't hang you because your head would pop off.... and that's inhumane

I'm not sure if it's true for Iraq, but in some Middle Eastern countries they hang people by tieing the noose around the victim's neck and then lifting them slowly off the ground. Apparently it is a much slower death than the if the victim is dropped, because the neck doesn't break so they just choke to death.

Perhaps you do not know what it means to be a victim of capital punishment, but all victims of capital punishment are victims of capital punishment.

You dodged my question, or didn't answer it directly. First, hussein is STILL alive; the same cannot be said for his HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF REAL VICTIMS who he MURDERED! Do you consider Hussein to be a "victim?" Yes or no?

Victim: 1. a person who suffers from a destructive or injurious action or agency

Assuming Saddam gets whacked, he would then technically be a victim of capital punishment. The institution of capital punishment, through an injurious action, made him suffer. Doesn't mean that he is THE victim, though.

I understand your sentiment, too, dear. I hate to see the upcoming government murder place Saddam among Jesus. GOD forbid Jesus should come again, can you imagine wearing lethal injections around our necks?!

And I too hate to see Jesus as "victim." Jesus was never one to whine about how he was viewed, even when things weren't going so well.

The U.S. is not hanging him. He's been tried under Iraqi law and found guilty.
He'll be punished for his crimes under Iraqi law, which happens to be hanging.


How many of the Judges' family members have been murdered during the trial by Saddam's followers? And you want to keep him around into his old age so his guards families will be murdered also?
