I had to inventory my unicycles to see what kind of seats they have. I guess I only have one gel seat and that is a Kris Holm seat. At least I think it is a gel seat. It came on one of my unicycles.

While checking seats I discovered that one of my seats is starting to come apart. The cover on my MUni seat has some cracks and small holes in it . I would have to say it is the seat that takes the most abuse.

I have a Torker DX seat that is very comfortable.

Bike shorts do feel sort of strange when you first wear them. Like most anything, you will get used to them and eventually won't hardly notice that big pad.
