ya people always try to mess up unicyclers, my only real problem with that it some teens trying to shove me in a ditch

Many similar situations have happend to me, but one reciently has put me at ease. I was riding down main street on my 6 ft when this guy in a brand new corvette drove up beside me and yelled "fall" as loud as he could. I was expecting something like this to happen, It usually does every time I ride in town, and it's usually the same guy. Well, because I was somewhat expecting this, though it did startle me, it didn't make me fall(It has in the past). Anyway, right after he yelled at me I yelled back "Wreck". He was so shocked at this responce that he was dazed and ran into a yeald sign. He messed up the front of his new car pretty bad... I laughed


Revenge...No, karma will do just fine!!!

Oh my God! THAT is the coolest thing I have ever heard. I'd love to see the the insurance claim... It was all the wizzard on the 10 foot unithingie. He made it happen. If for some reason this was caught on video, let me know, and I'll pay anything to see it just once!

that is *the* best thing ever! When pedestrians try to do the jump out in
front of me thing I've been trying not to swerve and to ride straight at
them, they always jump back out of the way when they realise you're ignoring
them. I did used to swerve, but once this kid jumped out in front of me on a
main road when I was going about 17mph with a large lorry behind me at a
similar speed and I swerved and had to ride faster and nearly came off and
that scared me shitless.

Another thing you could try, which I *DO NOT* recommend, is to follow his
instructions, and make sure your unicycle leaves a big mark in his
fiberglass :-)

My favorite used to be when people stuck their foot out as if to trip me. I
don't get much of this type activity any more because I avoid riding close
to people (as should anybody, unless the sidewalk is narrow). But sometimes
people think they're cute by making like they're going to trip you. Usually
they pull back if you ride right at their foot. I love it when they don't. I
always apologize afterward, "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize your foot was
there!" Their pride is hurt more than anything else, and I ride away the
victor.

If you're going to try that, make sure you can do it with confidence
first...

I don't believe you were beaten up just for riding a unicycle. I suppose there are worse incidents, but that's pretty bad.
