Hi, all. I am so psyched. I just found out that the NY State License plate
UNICYCLE has just become available. I have ordered it.

Does anyone else out there have a uni-related license plate? Don't forget
to mention the state or country.

I almost ordered UNICYCL. Luckily there was a problem with my internet
order, and when I called, I found that they had an extra E lying around
and would be able to add it on. Well, not quite.

By the way, in NY State, these plates are still up for grabs:
UNICYCL
UN1CYCLE

Enjoy!

Uh oh. This means that Ken Britton may have passed away. He was the owner of
"UNICYCLE." I believe his plate was pictured in the USA Newsletter with
pictures from the 1981 Nationals in Michigan. Ken Britton lived in
Canandaguia, and came to a few of the conventions. I have a picture of him
and Hank Luken (NJ) at UNICON I, both on their unicycles at age 69. That
would make them both nearly 90 today. I hope Ken is still around, and has
just sold his car. I hear that at the time he also had a license plate for
"JOG" and one other, so he had at least three cars then.

I own UNICYCL in California. I was amazed that in the state with the most
registered vehicles, that one was unused in late 1994 when I moved here.

When I lived in NY I was the proud owner of UN1CYCLE. I still have the
plates. Once Ken Britton even got a parking ticket that was intended for me,
from bad campus parking in Massachusetts!

Stay on top,
JF

That's funny. It's interesting that I almost got your old plate!

I am posting in behalf of Guy Hansen, as he has no connection to the internet currently. I just met him the other day, and saw with my own eyes his UNICYCL license plate for the state of Utah. Cool! And then he demostrated his hand-pedaling... very cool!

ROTFL! I heard a story once (dt might be an urban legend, not sure)
about this guy that got a license plate with "NONE" on it. Almost
immediately he was slapped with hundreds of dollars worth of fines.
Apparently when police officers found a car violating traffic
regulations without a license plate they would write NONE on the form
where they usually write the license plate...heh!

LOL once more. But there was a sunny side to it. If he ever was fined
genuinely, he could get away with saying that it must have been a car
without a licence plate. There was the form to prove it!

There are two unicycle license plates on this website and the rest are
juggling plates. Note that they are all from Virginia.
