Yikes! I was scared to click on the story for fear that there might be more pictures (I'm eating a sandwich right now).
There was a recent news story about a guy who tried to escape from police by jumping over a similar fence. He ended up decapitating himself. A Google News search found another story about the guy on KATU. Figures that it was Portland's finest involved. The probably pushed the guy on the fence just to make sure he couldn't get away.

AHHHHHH! his name was Cody.........but yeah, where did he get impaled, looks too close to tha spot that makes uniing hard at times!
EDIT= Jk I hurt them more times mountain b*king and other sports, but really, where did it impale him??

I read a story a couple years ago about deer getting impaled on fences with sharp spikes. The deer were just trying to jump over the fence but did not make it all the way over. I don't remember where it was but the local authorities were getting tired of having to remove live deer from the spikes on their fence.
