as an ex-bmxer i can tell you exactly why everyone hates rollerbladers:
aside from the amount of effort it takes to learn anything that isnt rollerblading, compared to the fact that any fool can get a set of cheap blades and ride them, is the lack of respect and ettiquette. Bmxers and skateboarders certainly have no love for each other, but there is still a certain amount of respect. in the street, you stay out of each others way, in the park, you take your turn, you stay out of peoples way, and you respect other riders. bin liners have no concept of this. they hunt in huge packs, take over a section of the skate park, dont respect the unwritten rules or other riders and have the cheek to complain cos they come off worse when they roll in front of a bike thats gonna mow them down.
as for music, in the old days (well 5-6 years ago) before the grungers got skateboards as a status symbol, the bmxers where metal/punk, skateboarding held a largely hip hop soundtrack and the bladers listened to a horrible mishmash of the two...

I havent encountered any bad vibes riding skate parks on my unicycle, or in the street, its generally a reaction of awe...

You sound like you're jealous of their cool tricks.... Anyone who can ride a bike can start BMX'ing.... And besides they all take the same amount of effort to learn to do tricks(I've done BMX'ing and blading and tried a little skateboarding so you can shove it)
