My name is Glen, I live just outside of Chicago, Illinois.
Quick background.... My dad grew up riding uni's, I grew up riding uni's but very casually. I brought my uni with me from California when I moved to Illinois with the hopes I would continue to ride. Lately I have been watching a ton of "extreme unicyclers." Way out of my league but none the less AWESOME! So, I am looking to start cruising again and maybe learn a few basic "tricks." I can go up and down stairs/curbs... no spins, grabs, big transfers... I am just a basic rider. Thanks, Glen |

Welcome to you both.
Mark, you should never Suffern in silence here. Very few do. Is the Red Apple Rest Motel still in operation? My family used to stop there en route to and from Delaware, County.

Glen, as I'm sure you know Chicago is a rather large city. And it seems everyone has a different definition of Chicago. I am from just around the lake in Michigan(I challenge you to drive 20 minutes into Michigan and not pass my town), I visit Chicago often. Unfortunately these days do not get much free time while I am there.
