Only if you ride with that monster with a brake, lol. It was a long trail ride, especially with potential of getting lost- high. It fit my style of riding perfectly though, enough climbing and descending to be challenging with tons of sweet xc singletrack. You would have really enjoyed it Nurse Ben, being a fit rider like yourself.

Nice pic of that 36guni, and in a banked turn to boot!

I probably won't see you this summer/fall, but 2013 we'll be out there on a scouting expedition

The only reason we won't move to Ashland is if we can't find work...
Ben,
I'm on the list, waiting patiently for that tire's release. Of course, if you could swing a testing position for me I'd be happy to oblige. Maybe they need someone to test the tire on decomposed granite sand single track. Whad'ya think?
You will love the trails around here. Perfect for 36 cross country, 36 muni and 26 muni. Let's make sure you find work here.

Geoff

Hey Mike, are you still up for a multi day ride? Let me know when you're thinking.

Okay, I need to get the time off, so can you narrow it down to a single week

I don't know that I have your email, so if you could send me a pm with your number and email then we can work out the details.

Anyone else interersted?

African Safari

Just spent a couple of weeks on 36s in Kenya and Tanzania. The Masai tribesmen were intrigues with the unis.

I rode in the morning before it got hot and before it started to rain for the one millionth time this week.

that is 72.5cm

its the nasty clay mud that turns a almost new try-all into a slick!

Spent the day at Corona Del Mar Beach with the family and took some time to ride around the area. Too many people for my liking. I much prefer a secluded mountain trail.
