Climbing this morning with my G26er. This is one of 6 steep hills spread out over 12 miles. For me, MUni just wouldn't complete without some good climbs!

I got kicked out of my favorite giant parking lot by a security guard, but who cares? I found a much better place to learn uni: a new street that's still closed! No cars to nail me and no people to laugh at my n00b UPD's...heh.

Good. I was exploring Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park last week for my brother's wedding... we were delayed by the Estes Park fire.

I'm glad the trails are holding up ok. Everything over there is so beautiful... I went to Red Rocks too. Saw a unicyclist walking up the highway near there (Highway 40? I don't remember) but I don't think it was you.

RMNP is amazing, Old Fall River rd is a great climb to visitor center. Red Rocks is the best venue for music, did you see the stage? Not sure who was w/ uni??

Classic Aspen - Rocky Mtn - MUni

This is the quintessential MUni ride in the Aspen area. I rode it door to door on Saturday, a frickin intense, and amazing loop. Highlands to the farmers market for some fresh delicous gluten free pastries, to Smuggler, to Hunter Creek, to Four Corners, to Eewok, to Sunnyside, to Rio Grande to Moore, then home. Almost six hours of riding spectacular scenery, an uber workout, world class singletrack, and at the end the best ice cold lemonade I have ever had. You know how after hours out in the heat, whats left in your camelback is disgusting, but you drink it anyway? Well, I rode up to the cutest kids selling lemonade under a tree. ICE cold lemonade was so dope, riding the last few miles home was doable after that refreshment. Sidebar: One of the moms kids, remembered me from last winter; when I had taken her daughter, who was sick, down the ski hill in a tobaggon while I was ski patrolling, awesome!

I made a training ride on my way to work, so the distance grew from 10 to 32km. It was nice to have a swim in yet empty lake:

Great shots mike, I am so jealous! It's hot and humid out here, so that riding looks heavenly

Any thoughts of a multiday ride in the high country this summer?

[QUOTE=UniTographer;1524417]Missed my train this morning, wound up riding to the next station!

Man that happens to me all the time when I try to catch my city's public buses. But that way you get a nice ride in

My July 4th ride. Riding through the lava fields of a local little volcano, Brown Mountain, while in view of a bigger neighboring volcano, Mt. McLaughlin.
