Why'd you put your beer down for this photograph?

This was on a bike trail near Seattle a couple of years ago, an escapee. I'm glad I did'nt hurt it and found the owner fairly easily.

do people really get killed by poisonous snakes?
North Carolina has all four of the poisonous snakes in the USA, but you never hear of anyone dying from snake bite. And religious groups handle poisonous snakes very carelessly, how do they avoid bites?

the animals leave the milk and eggs behind, no cruelty need by committed for dairy and eggs, otherwise you're saying a calf is abusing it's mother by taking her milk?

Hiho, how's living in that dream world above the clouds? You think those advert pics (happy cows and hens living in the country) are for real?

Do you really know where your milk and eggs come from and under what circumstances they are produced? Most of the times it's big "animal factories", lot's of antibiotics, millions of male chicks killed (they don't produce eggs so we don't "need" them), cows that are cultured to produce more milk than we need (and more than is actually healthy for them), calves don't see any of this milk (they get some power nutrition to grow faster and can become burgers as soon as possible) etc. etc.

Greetings

Byc

Hmm, snakes can't hear in the usual sense. They have no outer ears but do have specialized internal mechanisms that allow them to "hear" and sense vibrations passed along the ground. So unfortunately, your attempt to "talk" to the snake will fall on "deaf" inner ears.
