First one was "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The cake in the shape of a house is the "sweet home", the slogan is a quote of lyrics from the song.

The second one was Cher.
For the word "Royalty", you can also read "noble", giving you "cher - noble", site of that nuclear disaster?
The slogan at the bottom 'both of us', references the opening line of lyrics "You and I in a little toy-shop...".
Answer?
99Red Balloons by NENA.

Want to have another go at the remainder now that you have an idea of how my head works?

The third one is "Down Under" by the band 'Men at Work'.
The song includes the famous reference to "a vegemite sandwich".
The complete lyrics around the mention are:

"I asked him do you speak-a my language
he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich"

Hence the poster.

The last one features Banana Bread and some margerine on the slice lying on the plate.
RAMA is a well-known brand of margerin in SA, so you end up with "Bananarama" and the song "I heard a rumour".

Does any of this make sense?

Hello everyone.

Men at Work - did they do The Safety Dance?

Quite enjoying the Armed anarchist thread, did it spring from the Ron Paul one?

That was Men Without Hats, a bunch who happily got their name cause they used to call themselves Men With Hats, but got into the habit of tossing these hats into the crowd after a gig, hence the change to Men Without Hats.

No, really.

Can't fault their logic.

How is everyone? Summer's arrived here pretty hard, it's gloriously hot and shows no sign of changing.
