What age do you consider as a starting age for "old dudes"?

AND use the internet? Woah, you have high standards! I think there might be more 70+ unicyclists than 70+ internet users...

I like that!
My girlfriend and I tried to learn juggling too some time ago. We are still beginners though but with balls, rings, clubs and knifes. I can handle three at a time and my partner is already juggling four at a time. Over the past week we started to try passing clubs.

Greetings

I would believe that the participation in this thread/voting is significantly lower with unicyclists being below 30 or 40, since the topic is less interesting for them.

Well I posted it, and I'm only 18. I think it's really interesting.

I thought I had better give a vote for the over 70 group, it looked so lonely all on its own.

I am 76 years old.

I Love the occasional ride, usually 4km on my 24" along a partly formed gravel road with a few potholes, and 5km on my Nimbus 29er on a nice smooth suburban cycle lane. I have been rather busy of late and my last ride was on 20/1/12.

My biggest fault is that I can't idle so that means a dismount if a car decides to turn across my path. I can freemount the 29er but unless on a slight downward slope I might have to do about 3 or more attempts. I am only 5'2" so use that as my 'excuse' ha ha! Sometimes I get it first pop so I know that it is really just a lack of practise, same with the idling.

I can ride backwards a little, about 4 car lengths, on a 20" and 24" but not the 29er. I can ride down roadside curbs but not up them, so that also limits my riding. My knees are starting to stiffen up but I will keep riding until it becomes no longer enjoyable. I hope to go for a ride on my 77th birthday in 3 months time (and more before then too of course).

Cheers to all.

I looked into this thread only because I saw your outstandingly clever username that could mean only one thing and thought, "no way." Keep it up young man.

+1 on the clever UserName and much respect for still being able to (at 5'2") freemount a 29er! I can only hope to be riding as long. Of course, by then, I'll probably have passed my 36er (I'm 5'10" and can barely jump up on my 36er at age 43) down to my kids.

Insofar as this poll demonstrates anything it seems to demonstrate that 20 to 39 year-olds have other matters to attend to (more important) than unicycling.
