Hey! Just getting back into uni riding. Learned when I was in private school in New England during middle school. I rode pretty often then. Had a 6 footer and everything. That was back in the middle 80's. Trying to lose some weight and decided to get back in the saddle. Ordered a 29 nimbus road uni yesterday. Should get it tomorrow. My 24 inch general purpose is 20 years old and pretty rickety. Still ride it though! Anybody else out there live around Berea, Kentucky? Need someone to ride with. Excited about this website!

My brother lives/lived in Goshen near Louisville. They used to go to Berea to an interesting craft community there, I believe. I never got the opportunity.
Now they are moving to Arizona next week.

So... I've heard of it, but that's about it.

I WAS a veteran rider many many years ago. I'm able to get on it now and ride, but it's still spooky at times. I'm not relearning how to ride, but I'm relearning how to look like I can ride. Ha Ha. Just need to practice. The unicycle I have now is also old and loose in places. So I bought the newer 29 nimbus road bike and put some money into it to hopefully have a better ride. When I got back on the old uni and rode for 20 minutes I couldn't walk for about two days without cringing due to my sore legs. Ha Ha. The new uni should be here tomorrow. : )

Berea is very crafty. A lot of people travel here for its crafts and Berea College.
