Well the time has come... My KH got pretty cracked yesterday when I was doing flip to tire combos. I'm getting the longneak gravity to replace it, should be sick.

Christmas break is 2 weeks away, can't wait! I hope my new frame gets here soon, I'm a bit worried about riding my current one to hard because I don't want to be stranded without a unicycle for too long... Anyone have any input on how long it takes to go from cracking to snapping off?

How 'deep' is the crack?? My frame has been cracked in two places since NAUCC and it's holding strong. I even do footjams on a regular basis and it's fine. But, in reality, the cracks are not very big or anything like that.. I have to look pretty closely at the weld to see one of them.

I broke my Kris Hol shortneck after one year and 2 months.
But I've let it weld.

I've been riding a KH longneck frame for a really long time now. Like a year and a half or so. I'm sort of tempted to try the Impact Gravity, but I do a lot of foot-on-frame tricks, so I don't think it would be ideal...

I've been riding my Alien Backflip for about a year now and there are no signs of cracking. For quite a while I rode it with a long seatpost that extended right to the bottom of the frame, basically making the frame twice as thick. Do you guys think that using a long seatpost increases the life of a frame?

Here's the crack:

Oh, and it's the KH 2007 frame, supposedly the weakest frame ever made haha

I don't think so, the sideways force on the seat is still going to be transferred through the joint connecting the seat tube and crown, and it will fatigue. If your seat post was also connected to the crown then it would help the seat tube not rip off, but then the frame may just crack the crown itself instead.

Some people who ride really short seat posts break the tube itself, so you're preventing that...it's pretty rare though :P

Footjams in flat. Personally, I think it makes combos look 10x better... Best footjams---Tibalt de Man.
