I did notice that I was higher, but that wasn't why I cut the seat post. I actually had to stretch my calf to keep my feet on the pedals at the bottom of the rotation. It was such a stretch, that I was hurting my giblets just from riding normally on flat pavement. I am only 5'7" and (just found out) that my inseam is only around 31-32 inches with shoes on. The 24-inch Nimbus MUNI with 300mm post clearly states that you need a minimum 33 inch inseam. I'm actually glad I got the 300mm post, cause the 200mm probably would have been a little short. I think a 250mm post is just right for me (on this size). Anyway, after reading several threads on this site, I also realize that the rolling diameter of my 24-inch MUNI with the fat Leopard tire (at 30psi) is probably closer to 25 or 26 inches. My trainer UNI had a very small tire on it, so the jump is actually bigger than 4 inches IMO. Even though I've only been riding for 6 months, I was able to ride it immediately. It just feels weird and the 150 cranks (vs 125) are the hardest part to get used to for me.
