The riding right at Jackson Hole ski mountain includes a bit of single track at the bottom, dirt roads leading to the top, and a rather small downhill bike park at the bottom. These are all fun to ride, the bike park would be fun to do for a few hours with the lift ticket, lots of manicured downhill runs. The downhill on the dirt roads was a blast, and I'd like to go back and attempt the ride up.

However, if you want miles of back country singletrack you are better off going to the Snow King area by the city of Jackson hole. You can (probably) take the chairlift up, or ride up, and there are lots of mapped trails. From what I understand Teton national park doesn't want mountain bikes on their trails. Sounds like there are some other good singletrack nearby at some places called Blacks Canyon and Lithium.

Made it out early this morning for a very nice 10 mile ride to and around a local state park on the 36". A good mix of on and off-road over a variety of terrain.

Wales is wet but....

My new 36 on its first day out. Wales is dry now and the dust on the wheel after the ride is as fine as flour

Went for a ride along the coastal cliffs today. Past the half way point I hesitate to call route I took paved, more like light uphill muni. I really underestimated the gradient but 10km of uphill 'muni' was certainly great training!

Here are some pics from the "Three Ring Circus" 50km MTB race I did on the weekend on my GMuni. It was a great day- I was joined by fellow unicyclist Rob O'brien from the Blue Mountains (dragonfly on the forums). I'll do a full write up and post more pics when i get the time,
Mark
