Growing public unicycle awareness :-)

On the long weekend myself and tony went to play around in a local park and
encountered a group of Mountain bikers playing bike soccer. Naturally we joined
in and did our best at playing goalies. Aside from the fact that it is extremely
difficult to kick a ball and stay on we had a lot of fun and a good chat
afterwards.

I was surprised at just how aware they were of the unicycling world. So these
guys aren't exactly joe public but they kept on referring to "That Canadian guy"
and the team who rode Polaris on unicycles.

I just want to say a big thanks to Kris, Sarah, Roger, Leo and all those others
who get out into the Mountain Biking world. You are helping us get recognition
as a sport and dispelling the "all unicyclists are clowns" myth. Its a far cry
from the "I've never heard of anyone doing that on a unicycle" response I
usually get.
