Back in January or February I mentioned that Tom Miller of The Unicycle Factory
was making 20 12" unis for kids. He is almost finished with the whole lot; my 4 year old received his uni 2 days ago. If you are interested give Tom a call at 317-452-2692. He took a 16" Zephyr, trimmed the forks, switched the 4" cranks with 3.5" cranks, and added spokes to a 12" bike rim. The thing looks great, actually cute is a better word. He penciled it into his newest catalog for $130.00. Well worth the money. My kid was crushed when he realized that learning to ride wasn't an instantaneous thing. He has recovered and is already mounting the uni with no backing for the tire while holding my right hand.
