The cover is removable, just wondering if the shape the same??
If so I shall get one
It works!
i think the shape isn't completely same, but almost.. it works!
I fixed the seatcover after i got the carbon base with a shoelace instead of the old system. that works really good and looks better

I also heard that some people could still use the normal system for fixing the seatcover.

does epoxy bind well to cf?

also: round holes with the bits from the new kh seats glued in. courtesy of andrew mell. looks like it will even be a lot easier to do than old-school cf bases with filing.

Import one from the UK! Thats what i did about 30 mins ago, and it only cost 23GBP to ship two of them to New Zealand, which is ages away :P
And fast (3-5day) shipping!

Yes. It's what Scott Wallis used to bind his threaded inserts in his custom seat bases.

Preparation is the key to a good epoxy job. Do some research on this. You'll want to make sure the base is as clean (grease-free) and dry as possible before applying epoxy.

I drilled the new holes in my seat base in which the little plastic bits from the new kh seats fit perfectly. I'll probably glue them in tonight if i can clean off the top of the seatbase as it hase a lot of ducttape residue on it, but so far this entire process is infinitely easier than when i filed it for the old hardware.
