Bearing Holders

Hey Everyone, I am building another unicycle and I am looking for aluminum bearing holders or ideas that you may have on how to hold the bearings.
Any Suggestions? Thanks.

You could get aluminum split shaft collars, and have them machined with a 42mm diameter channel to fit the bearings.

You could buy 2 pairs of kh or similar bearing holders and use one pair on the frame.

Do you have a TIG welder to make the rest of the frame and weld on the bearing caps. You could make the bearing caps fairly easily on a metal lathe.I have made several unicycles but I can only work with steel because I only have a stick welder.

The frame I am working with is aluminum and I have a MIG welder and Argon tank to weld aluminum, tho I need a bit of practice welding aluminum. (melts way to easily) Wish I had a lathe, then I could make my own. I like the split collar idea. Going to check into them today.
