There are plenty of unis far worse than a Nimbus, and some that are better. I've been riding for many years, and at various times I've owned Nimbuses and ridden them long distances and across rough ground. I've never had one break or start to show signs of failure.

Unicycle.uk.com is run by enthusiasts, and won't sell you rubbish. They have developed the Nimbus over many years.

For the first year or two, I'd say a Nimbus is a good starting point. You will want to choose some grippy pedals, and you may later develop a preference for a different crank length, and maybe a different seat. By then, you will understand the sport and what you personally want to get out of it, and make an informed choice when selecting your second uni.
