It was challenging for me (climbing). The trail is not that technical, though there are a lot of single tracks you can take that offer some fun downhills. You don't want to go when it's hot. It was already pretty warm at 7:00 a.m. It's wide open so it gets hot and you need a lot of water. Trails at home are more forested and green. It's cooler here in the SF bay area. I really like the desert though. I wish I could have stayed longer.
